Commercial & General

The City of Adelaide has announced that Commercial & General will develop site at 88 O’Connell Street in the heart of North Adelaide.  The new ‘Eighty Eight O’Connell’  development opposite the North Adelaide Village will have residential and retail components.  All approvals are in place and the project has received the green light. Another major development underway!

60 King William
by Charter Hall

Charter Hall are developing the Southern Cross Arcade site on King William Street. The new 15 storey office tower will include 3,000 square metres of ground floor retail space. This development follows Charter Halls’ $260m GPO Exchange project further south on King William Street. 

City Cross - Development

City Cross Shopping Centre will undergo a fabulous new upgrade to completely transform the Centre. The Centre faces Rundle Mall and the Myer Centre and it provides an important link through from the office towers on Grenfell and Pirie Streets. New shopping and dining opportunities will be available for customers and you too can be part of the action as new retail spaces become available.

Central Market Arcade Project builder appointed

Multiplex have just been appointed to build this fabulous development. The $400 million Central Market Arcade Development includes a hotel, apartments, offices and retail. The project will be constructed adjacent to the iconic Adelaide Central Market between Gouger and Grote Streets in the South West Quarter. 

Festival Square Development by the Walker Corporation

Breathing life back into Adelaide city centre, this large scale mixed-use commercial and retail development will feature a reinvigorated 5,000sqm city square and public realm, commercial tower with 40,000sqm of premium office space behind old Parliament house, and a two storey precinct featuring cafes, restaurants and luxury retail outlets. This will include the introduction of a new car park to accommodate 1,500 spaces.

Comm Bank high tech to move in

Lot Fourteen is backed by the South Australian and Australian governments and is a key focus of the $551 million Adelaide City Deal to provide a springboard for innovation and bring together the state’s leading abilities in space, defence, hi-tech and creative industries. The new Entrepreneur & Innovation Centre will be attract many new businesses and staff to the City East Quarter.
